MINSK. Feb 15 (Interfax) - Training missions are being accomplished in the course of the Russian-Belarusian Union Resolve 2022 exercise, the Belarusian Defense Ministry's press service said in a statement on Tuesday.
Tochka tactical missiles are being fired in Polessky, and Russian military units are on their way to the designated area, the statement said.
Meanwhile, units of a Belarusian mechanized infantry brigade are training deployment to blocking and defense lines, it said.
A number of forces and aircraft are being moved to the Lida airfield.
Meanwhile, units of a Russian mechanized infantry brigade are training defeat of a mock illegal armed formation at the Brestsky range. Special ops units of the Belarusian Armed Forces and the Russian Airborne Forces are guarding sites from mock illegal armed units.
Units of a Belarusian mechanized infantry brigade and Russian marines are training flexible defense and the first echelon's disengagement in the Baranovichi area.
Russian air defense missile units are protecting troops from airstrikes and are on training air defense duty in the Luninets area.
Attack planes of the Russian Aerospace Forces are giving air support to troops in defensive and are firing air-launched weapons at the Ruzhansky aviation range and the Obuz-Lesnovsky and Osipovichsky ranges.
Belarusian special ops units are protecting sites and training the blocking and defeat of a mock enemy's sabotage and reconnaissance groups and a mock illegal armed unit in the Gomel area.
Other training missions are being fulfilled in the Maryina Gorka, Osipovichi, Mozyr, Rechytsa and Pinsk areas.
