Kremlin views Western reports on when war in Ukraine might begin as 'maniacal information madness'

MOSCOW. Feb 15 (Interfax) - Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has described Western reports on a possible date of 'Russia's invasion' of Ukraine as maniacal information madness.

"We can hardly accept this with understanding. There have even been some jokes: they asked whether the exact hour of starting the war had been published anywhere," Peskov said at a press briefing on Tuesday. Journalists asked him to comment on statements from Western representatives who suggested the probable starting date of a war in Ukraine.

"Indeed, it's impossible to accept this kind of maniacal information madness with understanding," Peskov said.
