Russia not to take part in OSCE consultations requested by Ukraine - Deputy FM Grushko (Part 2)

MOSCOW. Feb 15 (Interfax) - Russia will not take part in the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) consultations on the Vienna Document requested by Kyiv, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko said in Moscow on Tuesday.

"No, we won't," Grushko said in response to Interfax's question.

"The situation is crystal clear" in the light of the statements made by the Russian Defense Ministry on Tuesday, he said.

"So, if anyone is planning to play political games... We are serious about confidence building and security mechanisms, and we will not allow using them to bad ends," Grushko said.

"Especially as the countries that seem to be the ones most concerned about the purity and the letter of the Vienna Document have done nothing to initiate relevant procedures when the Ukrainian army was bombing their own people and waging a real army offensive on them," he said.
