MOSCOW. Feb 15 (Interfax) - Moscow will not allow unfounded protraction of talks on security guarantees, because during this time the West may take steps that will exacerbate Russia's position, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
"We are concerned that the negotiations on security issues essential for us that we have proposed may be groundlessly protracted by our partners, and during these negotiations decisions will be made that will deteriorate our position in a very serious way, just as has been the case for many years," he said at a press conference following talks with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
"This is what is in our sight, what we understand, what we will discuss with our partners and what we will not allow," Putin added.
