MOSCOW. Feb 16 (Interfax) - Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu has described Brazil as a strategically important partner of Russia in Latin America.
"Brazil is a strategically important partner of Russia in Latin America. [...] I have no doubt that the dialogue between the foreign and defense ministries of both countries will serve the purpose of regional security and stability," Shoigu said during 2+2 consultations between the foreign and defense ministers of Russia and Brazil in Moscow on Wednesday.
Military and military-technical cooperation promotes the dynamic development of relations between Russia and Brazil, he said.
