Peskov about last night: We slept well

MOSCOW. Feb 16 (Interfax) - The employees of the Russian Presidential Executive Office slept well last night, even despite Western media reports alleging that Russia might start an invasion of Ukraine on Wednesday, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.

"We don't adjust our work based on reports by Western media, especially lately and especially as concerns certain subjects. The night passed as usual, as it should have, we slept calmly, and we started work just as calmly and in a businesslike way in the morning," Peskov said while answering the relevant question from journalists on Wednesday.

Asked whether the presidential office had any contacts with representatives of any foreign states, Peskov said, "We don't have the habit of getting in touch with foreign states at nighttime."
