MOSCOW. Feb 16 (Interfax) - The United States is seeking to ensure that Russia restricts the scale of combat training of its Armed Forces, the Russian Security Council said.
"At the same time, an obvious attempt is being made to restrict the scale of scheduled operational and combat training of the Russian Armed Forces and to control any movement of our troops on our national territory," Deputy Secretary of the Russian Security Council Mikhail Popov said in an interview with the Rossiyskaya Gazeta newspaper.
A carefully orchestrated, complex, and multifaceted information campaign is being conducted against Russia using the situation in Ukraine, he said.
