MOSCOW. Feb 16 (Interfax) - Two more stations tracking space debris might be deployed in Brazil, about which there is already an agreement, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
"Three GLONASS stations and an optoelectronic system to track space debris have been built in Brazil, and there are agreements on deploying two more stations," Putin said following negotiations with Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro on Wednesday.
Speaking of bilateral cooperation, Putin said also that the Russian state space agency Roscosmos and the Brazilian Space Agency are working on implementing an agreement on cooperation in developing a series of remote sensing satellites.
