MOSCOW. Feb 16 (Interfax) - The West's "hysteria" about Russia's supposed preparations for invading Ukraine is bewildering, and its attempts to dictate to Moscow how to behave show a lack of manners, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said.
"Unfortunately for numerous Western media, a war didn't happen again," Zakharova said.
"Indeed, they were trying to do all they could to make it happen, and perhaps the battles in their newspapers were for real, but this has nothing to do with reality," Zakharova said at a press briefing in Moscow on Wednesday.
"I haven't seen this amount of fake news, disinformation, falsehoods, [...] and lies in such a concentrated form for quite a long time," she said.
"It seems to me that this concentration of disinfo wasn't present even in the situation in Syria," she said.
