KYIV. Feb 17 (Interfax) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said he cannot say there is any [sign of] withdrawal of Russian troops from the border with Ukraine.
"The situation is controllable, but we aren't seeing any change; we are seeing a concentration of troops and small rotations. I wouldn't call it a troop withdrawal. I wouldn't make any conclusions," Zelensky said at the #UArazom (Together) telethon, adding, "We will declare a withdrawal when it happens."
Describing the current situation, Zelensky noted that "it was joint pressure by diplomats that worked."
"I would like to believe that diplomacy wasn't done separately with Russia, and without us," he said.
"There are various signs, but now is not the time to believe in signs," he said.
