MOSCOW. Feb 17 (Interfax) - The Ukraine situation is not developing in Russia, this is happening in the minds and media of the West, and all questions about de-escalation should be directed there, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.
"The whole situation is not developing here, in the Russian territory, it is developing in the minds and media outlets of the West, above all the United States and the United Kingdom. Of course, Mr. [NATO Secretary General Jens] Stoltenberg is actively developing the situation," Lavrov said during talks with Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio.
"So, every question on how to deal with what they call an escalation should be directed to them," Lavrov said.
