Kremlin not to demand apology for claims of pending Russian 'invasion' of Ukraine

MOSCOW. Feb 17 (Interfax) - Russia will not demand a public apology from those who have claimed the pending Russian "invasion" of Ukraine, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"We have no such intention. There is no need to play the apology game," Peskov said at a press briefing on Thursday in response to the relevant question.

"Still, Russia will be expecting a more serious, more responsible and more sincere approach from those who make such rabid, irresponsible statements and the media outlets that are clearly abusing such statements," he said.
