MOSCOW. Feb 17 (Interfax) - Attempts to shift the blame for the Ukraine situation on Russia will not succeed, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.
"It is obvious that the Americans are exercising external control [of Ukraine] and are trying to blame Russia for everything that is happening there - we know such tactics and strategies, but they won't succeed," Lavrov said at a press conference on Thursday after talks with Italian Foreign Minister Luigi di Maio.
"The Minsk Agreements must be fulfilled the way they were approved by the UN Security Council and in the same sequence. The indivisible security principle must be put into practice on a legally binding basis in all of its entirety and interrelation," he said.
