Kremlin not planning contacts with Kyiv amid escalation in Donbas (Part 2)

MOSCOW. Feb 17 (Interfax) - Moscow is not planning contacts with Kyiv amid an escalation of tensions in Donbas, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"There are no plans to hold talks with Kyiv," Peskov said in response to the respective question from journalists.

Journalists asked Peskov what the Kremlin was planning to do under the circumstances.

"In this particular case, we are conducting close monitoring... We will see how the situation develops," Peskov said.
