LUHANSK. Feb 17 (Interfax) - The self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) militia has reported the downing of a Ukrainian army drone that was adjusting artillery fire at Donetskyi.
"The enemy used an unmanned aerial vehicle, a quadrocopter, to adjust artillery fire in the Donetskyi vicinity. It was downed by an air surveillance post of the militia together with ECM systems," militia spokesman Yan Leshchenko told reporters on Thursday.
In the vicinity of Kyiv-held Shchastya, "a mobile team of the Zapad special ops forces has been seen preparing for the launch of attack drones to drop bombs camouflaged as household objects in the suburbs of Luhansk," he said.
"Militia ECM systems in that area have been put on high alert," Leshchenko said.
