MOSCOW. Feb 17 (Interfax) - The Russian military has reported the return of tank units and logistical support units to their permanent points of deployment after exercises in Russia's Kursk and Bryansk regions.
"Trains carrying armored vehicles used by the 1st Tank Army of Russia's Western Military District are arriving at military bases in the Nizhny Novgorod region having accomplished combat training missions at ranges in the Kursk and Bryansk regions," Russian Defense Ministry spokesperson Igor Konashenkov said.
"Logistical support units of the Western Military District, who drilled missions at ranges in the Kursk region, returned to their permanent stations of deployment in Dzerzhinsk, the Nizhny Novgorod region, last night after a march, having traveled over 700 km," he said.
