Authorities of self-proclaimed DPR say attacks on their territory increasing

DONETSK. Feb 17 (Interfax) - The number of attacks on the territory of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) has increased to 18 since the beginning of the day, the DPR People's Militia said.

"Since the beginning of the day, Ukrainian combatants violated the ceasefire 18 times," the press service for the People's Militia said in a statement on Thursday. As a result of the attacks, two residential houses have been damaged near the Trudovaya Mine settlement in Donetsk.

Donetsk said earlier that Ukrainian forces had opened fire 15 times, using various calibers of mortars, targeting the DPR-controlled territory as of Thursday midday Moscow time.
