Ukraine reports 2 soldiers injured, 34 enemy attacks since midnight

KYIV. Feb 17 (Interfax) - The number of enemy attacks in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) zone in Donbas had increased to 34 by 2 p.m. on February 17, the Ukrainian JFO said on Facebook.

Of these, 28 were carried out with weapons prohibited by the Minsk agreements, it added.

As a result, two Ukrainian soldiers were injured and hospitalized in conditions of medium severity.

Earlier on Thursday, the JFO reported 29 ceasefire violations by 11 a.m., including 27 carried out with prohibited weapons. One serviceman was injured.

The self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics had also reported sharp exacerbations on the conflict line.
