Kazakhstan, Russia have no territorial disputes - Tokayev

NUR-SULTAN. Feb 17 (Interfax) - The leaders of Kazakhstan and Russia have never had any territorial disputes, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said.

"Leaders of the two nations have never had any territorial disputes. Vladimir Putin personally reaffirmed to me that the territorial issue would never be raised. So there is no reason to worry," Tokayev said in an interview with the state-run television channel Qazaqstan.

The boundaries of Kazakhstan and Russia are all determined and documented, he said. "The entire world has recognized it. There have never been any conflicts in relations between the two countries. The Russian president has demonstrated a firm commitment to these principles," he said.
