Train carrying troops returns to base in Chechnya from exercise in Crimea

MOSCOW. Feb 17 (Interfax) - The first train with troops, military vehicles and equipment that were earlier involved in an exercise in Crimea has returned to its permanent base in the Chechen Republic, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

"The first train with the Southern Military District's motorized rifle taskforce, which is permanently deployed in the Chechen Republic, has arrived at its point of destination after participating in an exercise in Crimea," the Defense Ministry said in statement on Thursday.
