MOSCOW. Feb 17 (Interfax) - Two Russian long-range bomber aircraft have completed a three-hour patrol of Belarus' airspace, the Russian Defense Ministry stated on Thursday.
"During our joint exercise Union Resolve 2022, two [Tupolev] Tu-22M3 long-range bombers of the Russian Aerospace Force completed another patrol mission in the airspace of the Republic of Belarus. The flight duration was about three hours," the statement said.
"At certain stages of the flight the bombers were accompanied by Russian Aerospace Force [Sukhoi] Su-35 fighters. All have now returned to the airbase," it added.
