Donetsk says 200 rounds and grenades fired on DPR on Thursday

DONETSK. Feb 18 (Interfax) - More than 100 rounds and as many grenades have been launched against the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) since midnight, DPR militia spokesman Eduard Basurin said on Thursday.

"Throughout the day today over 100 mortar shells of 120mm and 82mm caliber and over 100 grenades of varying types have been launched... all this against the DPR territory," Basurin told Rossiya 24 television channel.

Earlier, Donetsk said that a woman had been injured by gunfire in a suburb of Donetsk.

It was reported that Ukraine used various mortar launchers, automatic tripod-mounted and anti-tank grenade launchers and large-caliber machine guns in attacks on Thursday.
