Almost 80 rounds hit DPR territory on Feb 18 - mission to JCCC

DONETSK. Feb 18 (Interfax) - Almost 80 rounds have been fired upon the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) on Friday, the DPR mission to the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) said.

"Seventy-eight mortar shells and artillery rounds of various calibers have been fired on the DPR territory since the beginning of the day," the mission said on Friday.

The DPR said earlier that the number of attacks grew ten-fold over the past day.

For its part, the Ukrainian army reported 60 ceasefire violations committed in Donbas on Friday. The army said that one serviceman was wounded, one sustained a combat trauma, two civilians were injured, and three had concussions. Six attacks were observed on Friday morning, it said.
