DONETSK. Feb 18 (Interfax) - A Ukrainian tank has attacked the outskirts of Horlivka in the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), the DPR mission to the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) said.
"A tank fired four shots at Horlivka (the Gagarin Mine compound) at 10:28 a.m.," the mission said on Friday.
Nearly 40 rounds were fired upon the DPR territory within 35 minutes, it said.
Earlier, the DPR authorities reported a drastic escalation of tensions and an over ten-fold increase in the number of attacks on the DPR territory in the past 24 hours.
