Ukrainian army opened fire 9 times on Friday - LPR mission to JCCC

LUHANSK. Feb 18 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian Armed Forces opened fire on another three localities in the self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) on Friday, the LPR mission to the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) told Interfax.

"Three ceasefire violations committed by armed formations of Ukraine have been observed," the LPR mission to the JCCC said.

The Ukrainian army's strikes targeted the localities of Zelena Roshcha, Molochniy and Veselenke, using 120mm and 82mm mortars and SPG grenade launchers, it said.

"Information on casualties and damage is being verified," it said.

The LPR mission to the JCCC said later that the number of strikes being delivered by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on LPR territory is increasing.

"Another three violations of the ceasefire committed by armed formations of Ukraine have been recorded," it said.

The Ukrainian army used 120mm mortars against the localities of Kalynivka, Sanzharivka, and Kalynove, it said.

The LPR mission to the JCCC said a little later that there were another three strikes mounted by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, targeting the localities of Holubivske, Kalynivka and Sokilnyky and involving RPG and AGS grenade launchers.
