MOSCOW. Feb 18 (Interfax) - Tensions in Europe should be discussed at a P5 summit, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
"Putin's initiative of a summit of the five permanent members of the UN Security Council remains on the table. A potential meeting of this kind is supposed to address key challenges. There is no other way to describe what all of us are going through in Europe. So, hypothetically speaking, the issue should be addressed at such a high level," Peskov said at a press briefing on Friday.
"As to the details, let us wait and see what initiatives are put forward. There are no specifics as of yet," he said.
