Putin invites Lukashenko to discuss regional affairs, military cooperation

MOSCOW. Feb 18 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has invited his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko to discuss regional affairs and bilateral military cooperation.

"Thank you for accepting my invitation. Of course, we will speak about the regional situation, will evaluate the progress of our military cooperation in the context of the active stage of a military exercise, and will also attend a major military cooperation event together tomorrow," Putin said at a meeting with Lukashenko.
