Sabotage prevented at oil terminal, Styrol plant - DPR militia spokesman

DONETSK. Feb 18 (Interfax) - A Sabotage has been prevented at an oil terminal near Olenivka and at the Styrol plant in Horlivka in the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).

"Last night, a [Ukrainian] sabotage team [...] tried to break into an oil terminal near Olenivka," militia spokesman Eduard Basurin told reporters on Friday.

The saboteurs were planning to blow up tanks, "hoping they contained fuel and lubricants inside," he said.

The sabotage was prevented, Basurin said, without providing further details.

The DPR State Security Ministry said, for its part, "A Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group tried to blow up ammonia containers on the grounds of the Styrol plant in Horlivka" at about 4 a.m. Moscow time.

A security guard born in 1957 was injured during the sabotage attempt, the ministry said in a statement on its website.
