No deadline set yet for DPR evacuation to Rostov region - source

MOSCOW. Feb 18 (Interfax) - Temporary accommodation facilities in Russia's Rostov region are ready to take in as many refugees from the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) as necessary, a source in emergency services told Interfax on Friday.

"No deadline has been set. There will be as many people at accommodation centers as necessary. Until it is safe," the source said.

It was reported that the DPR expected to evacuate several hundred people to the region.

"From today, February 18, a massive, centralized evacuation has been organized for our population to the Russian Federation. The first priority are women, children and elderly people," DPR leader Denis Pushilin said in a video appeal to his citizens.
