DONETSK. Feb 18 (Interfax) - The first buses with evacuees from the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) are due to depart at 8 p.m. Moscow time on Friday, Yasynuvata mayor Dmitry Shevchenko said.
"The head of the local administration in the town of Yasynuvata has announced urgent evacuation... The places of assembly and boarding for evacuation are located at (...) The buses are leaving at 8 p.m. tonight," Shevchenko wrote on social media on Friday.
The mass evacuation to Russia was announced earlier by DPR leader Denis Pushilin who said that Kyiv was preparing to launch an offensive in the region.
