Car blown up outside govt building in Donetsk, no casualties reported - DPR mission to JCCC

DONETSK. Feb 18 (Interfax) - A car was blown up on Friday outside the office of the government of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), the self-proclaimed DPR mission to the Joint Control and Coordination Center (JCCC) said.

"A car was blown up in a parking lot close to the government building at about 7:00 p.m. The blast was heard all across the city. An Emergency Situations Ministry team is heading to the scene," the DPR mission to the JCCC said in a statement on Friday.

No casualties have been reported.

Earlier in the day, the authorities began evacuating people living in the DPR to Russia amid dramatically growing tensions in the region.
