Ukraine conducting staged filming of civilians purportedly killed by Russian troops - Russian Defense Ministry

MOSCOW. April 5 (Interfax) - The Russian military has learned that Ukrainian special services conducted a staged filming of civilians purportedly killed by Russian troops in the village of Moshchun near Kyiv on Monday with the aim of circulating the recording through Western media, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Tuesday.

"According to verified information, service members of Ukraine's 72nd Main Center of Psychological Operations conducted another staged filming of civilians purportedly killed by violent actions of the Russian Armed Forces in the village of Moshchun 23 kilometers northwest of Kyiv on the evening of April 4 to circulate the recording later through Western media outlets," Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said at a press briefing on Tuesday.

"Ukrainian special services have now organized similar activities in Sumy, Konotop, and other towns," he said.
