Tokayev tells Zelensky of Kazakhstan favoring Russia-Ukraine conflict resolution based on UN charter

ASTANA. Feb 16 (Interfax) - The president of Kazakhstan spoke by telephone with Ukraine's President Vladimir Zelensky to discuss the situation in Ukraine and bilateral humanitarian relations, the Kazakhstani leader's press service said in a statement on Thursday.

"Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has reaffirmed the position of Kazakhstan regarding diplomatic resolution of the Russia-Ukraine armed conflict on the basis of the UN Charter and the generally accepted principles of international law," the statement said.
