Russian Defense Ministry: 101 Russian soldiers return from Ukraine as result of negotiations

MOSCOW. Feb 16 (Interfax) - More than 100 Russian servicemen have been returned to Russia from Ukrainian captivity, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Thursday.

"As a result of the negotiation process, 101 Russian servicemen have been returned from the Kiev regime-controlled territory," the ministry said.

The servicemen will be flown by the Russian Aerospace Force's transport aircraft to Moscow for medical treatment and rehabilitation, it said.

"All of the released are being provided with necessary medical and psychological aid," the ministry said.
