MINSK. Feb 17 (Interfax) - The government of Belarus has restricted entry of Polish trucks and tractor units into the country's territory, the government press service said on Friday.
"The movement of trucks and tractor units registered in the Republic of Poland to conduct cargo or recoupling operations will now be possible only through the Belarusian-Polish section of the Republic of Belarus's border," it said.
To evenly distribute traffic flows from road-transport crossing points to special stations for cargo or recoupling operations, the Berestovitsa TLC customs checkpoint and the Berestovitsa border checkpoint's waiting area have been added to the list of such stations for vehicles passing through the Kozlovichi crossing point on the Belarusian-Polish border section and the Privalka and Benyakoni crossing points on the Belarusian-Lithuanian border section, it said.
"The government issued the resolution in the wake of the closure by the Polish side of the Bobrowniki road-transport border crossing point (neighboring Belarus's Berestovitsa) since February 10, 2023," it said.
