ABU DHABI. Feb 20 (Interfax) - Russia annually exports about 100,000 Kalashnikov assault rifles, and this figure remained unchanged in 2022, Rosoboronexport CEO Alexander Mikheyev told Interfax.
"In 2022, the number of Kalashnikov assault rifles delivered to foreign customers remained at the level of over 100,000," Mikheyev said in the context of the IDEX defense exhibition in the United Arab Emirates.
"The interest in Russian civilian and service weapons has increased significantly, including in the Middle East region," he said.
