MINSK. Feb 20 (Interfax) - Reconnaissance units of the Belarusian Armed Forces have held a special tactical exercise on the border with Poland and Lithuania, the press service for the Belarusian Defense Ministry said on Monday.
"The 6th Separate Guards Mechanized Brigade [stationed in Grodno] has conducted a special tactical exercise with reconnaissance units," the press service said.
"The troops trained operation of observation posts, reconnaissance groups and surveillance patrols to track down and detect targets and sites of a mock enemy. The reconnaissance units acted on unfamiliar terrain and used quadcopters of various modifications for reconnaissance," it said.
