Peskov does not rule out Putin's meeting with China's FM Wang Yi

MOSCOW. Feb 20 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin could hold a meeting with Office Director of the Chinese Communist Party's Central Foreign Affairs Commission Wang Yi, as they have things to discuss, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"We do not rule out a meeting of Mr. Wang Yi with the president. Indeed, he will be visiting Moscow," Peskov said in response to a related question.

"We will keep you posted about the date," he said.

Russian-Chinese relations are a multifaceted alliance, Peskov said. "The agenda is clear and quite extensive. There are things to discuss," he said.

Wang Yi will be visiting France, Italy, Hungary and Russia on February 14-22.
