MOSCOW. Feb 20 (Interfax) - The Russian Prosecutor General's Office has found the activities of the Lithuanian organization Free Nations League to be unwelcome in Russia.
"The Lithuanian foreign non-governmental organization Free Nations League has been found unwelcome by the Russian Prosecutor General's Office," the supervisory agency said on Monday.
According to the prosecutors, the organization "poses a threat to the foundations of the constitutional system and security of the Russian Federation, and its leaders, who are citizens of foreign states and live permanently in Lithuania, the UK and Ukraine, are calling for violations of the territorial integrity of the Russian Federation and have separatist nationalist slogans."
The information on this decision was sent to the Russian Justice Ministry for its inclusion in the list of foreign and international non-governmental organizations whose activities have been found unwelcome on the territory of Russia and to be published.
