State commission confirms launch of Russian Soyuz MS-23 spacecraft to ISS on Feb 24

MOSCOW. Feb 20 (Interfax) - The Soyuz MS-23 spacecraft to replace the damaged Soyuz MS-22, currently docked to the International Space Station (ISS), will lift off on February 24, Roscosmos said on Monday.

"The launch of the Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle with the Soyuz MS-23, which will have no crew on board, is scheduled for 3:24:27 a.m. Moscow time on February 24," Roscosmos said.

The state commission on Monday permitted the rocket to be delivered and positioned at Launch Pad No. 31 on February 21, it said.
