WASHINGTON. Feb 20 (Interfax) - United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara on Monday to discuss Ukraine aid and bilateral relations.
"The two leaders discussed supporting Ukraine [...] emphasized the need to work more closely on bilateral issues, including defense, energy, trade, and collective security," the State Department said.
In addition, Blinken has reiterated the U.S. intention to provide Turkey with assistance necessary to overcome the aftermath of the recent powerful earthquakes.
