MOSCOW. Feb 21 (Interfax) - The visit of U.S. President Joe Biden to Ukraine is an important event, but it is incapable of influencing Russia's domestic policy, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
"I do not think that we view a visit of the U.S. president, even the one to Ukraine, as an outstanding event capable of influencing our domestic policy. Let us stay sovereign and disregard the rest," Peskov said in an interview with Channel One in response to a question whether the visit would be mentioned in Russian President Vladimir Putin's address to the Federal Assembly.
"Let us think that we and our agenda are our top priority. Such events are important. Naturally, we watched it very carefully," Peskov said.
