MOSCOW. Feb 21 (Interfax) - A special fund will be established in Russia to assist the families of servicemen killed in the special military operation and its veterans, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
"I propose that we establish a special state fund. It will be tasked with targeted, personalized assistance to the families of deceased troops and veterans of the special military operation," Putin said in his address to the Federal Assembly on Tuesday.
"Every family, I emphasize this, every family of the deceased, every veteran must have a personal social worker to solve arising problems in the course of personal communication, in real time," Putin said.
"Fund offices must open in all regions of the Russian Federation as early as this year," he said.
