YEREVAN. Feb 21 (Interfax) - The two-year European Union civilian mission deployed in Armenia will help ensure peace in the region, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said.
"At his meeting with the Director of Integrated Approach for Security and Peace, Stefano Tomat, and the Head of the EU Mission [in Armenia], Markus Ritter, Pashinyan hailed the decision to deploy the mission, underscoring that it will be conducive to regional peace and stability," the Armenian government's press service said.
Tomat thanked Armenia for assistance with the mission.
