MOSCOW. Feb 21 (Interfax) - The course towards the development of strategic partnership with Beijing is a priority of Moscow's foreign policy and their relations are immune to external factors, Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev said at a meeting with member of the Political Bureau of the Chinese Communist Party's Central Committee Wang Yi.
"The course towards the development of strategic partnership with China is an unquestionable priority of Russia's foreign policy. Our relations are valuable in themselves and immune to external factors," the Russian Security Council's press service quoted Patrushev as saying.
"This attitude has been repeatedly confirmed at the summit level, including during a videoconference between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping in late December of last year," Patrushev said.
