MOSCOW. Feb 22 (Interfax) - Assault teams have advanced by 2.5 kilometers in the area of Artyomovsk over the past two days, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
"Over the past two days alone, the total advancement of assault teams towards the prepared defense lines of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the area of Artyomovsk reached over 2.5 kilometers," the ministry said.
"The successful combat actions would have been impossible without full fire support of the offensive by artillery, armored vehicles and other weapon systems of the southern group of forces," it said.
