Russian Defense Ministry denies blocking ammo supply to assault team volunteers near Artyomovsk

MOSCOW. Feb 22 (Interfax) - Assault teams of volunteers operating in the area of Artyomovsk are being provided with the necessary quantity of ammunition, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

"Despite bad weather in the Artyomovsk area, attack planes performed 18 flights to support the offensive of assault teams in the past few days," the ministry said on Tuesday night.

"Hence, any claims of an ammo shortage allegedly made on behalf of the assault teams are completely inaccurate," it said.

The command of the Joint Group of Troops (Forces) while conducting the special military operation gives keen, constant and priority attention to the provision of volunteers and assault team members with everything they need.
