Russia's technical capacities allow for solid assessment of nuclear parity with U.S. - Russian Deputy FM Ryabkov

MOSCOW. Feb 22 (Interfax) - Russia has national technical capacities for monitoring the nuclear parity with the United States without the New START, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said.

"There are national technical capacities that allow for a rather solid assessment of the situation. Besides, we have experience of monitoring what's happening in the United States, and not just in this area, by other means," Ryabkov told reporters in Moscow.

"True, this is not the same as the information exchange conducted under the treaty. However, the situation has changed drastically and we will deal with what we have," he said.
