MOSCOW. Feb 22 (Interfax) - Russia cannot stop the special military operation in Ukraine before it achieves a victory, but the United States can put an end to this confrontation if it stops delivering weapons to Kiev, Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev said.
"If Russia stops the special military operation without achieving a victory, Russia will be no more, it's going to be torn to pieces. If the U.S. stops delivering weapons to the Kiev regime, the war will end," Medvedev wrote on Telegram, in commenting on United States President Joe Biden's speech in Poland.
Medvedev mentioned Biden's remarks in Warsaw, in which he, "rephrasing the well-known expression, stated: 'If Russia stopped invading Ukraine, it would end the war. If Ukraine stopped defending itself against Russia, it would be the end of Ukraine'. This is a refined lie. The truth is absolutely different."
