WASHINGTON. Feb 27 (Interfax) - Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov said answering a media question about the anti-Russian steps announced by the U.S. that the U.S. side is destroying the bilateral dialogue by imposing restrictions on Russian companies and citizens.
"On February 24th, the world has witnessed yet another round of mindless economic and personal sanctions against Russia and its citizens. [...] Does anyone really believe that such measures will make our country give up its independent course, divert from the chosen path towards a multipolar world based on the principle of indivisible security, international law and the UN Charter?" the official Telegram channel of the Russian Embassy in the U.S. quoted Antonov as saying.
"In fact, Washington is deliberately destroying the bilateral dialogue and international relations," the ambassador said.
